This is the Singapore Cricket Club. We walked past here just as the Australian 7's team had finished their practice. Earlier in the day we drove past as the Fijians warmed up. NZ won the tournament! :) This is also where the Allied soldiers who had surrendered to the Japanese were paraded before heading off in to captivity. Something like forty thousand soldiers were gathered here by the Japanese. |
