After Kohanga on the 9th of July we decided to head down to St James park where an open air museum has been running all week celebrating the end of World War Two. It was also a chance for today's generation to give their thanks for the selfless sacrifices made for us by the older generation 60 years ago. |

There were plenty of period actors on hand to breath life in to the static displays. The chap on the right could so easily step in to "Dads Army" as a new Captain Mannering! :) |

The Royal Marines were on hand to give demonstrations of training methods used during World War Two. To cap off their show they ran an obstacle course in full battle gear that ended with a 8foot high wall! |
